CFMX 7 Download Available

As noted in John Beynon's blog, it appears that Macromedia has released ColdFusion MX 7 (aka Blackstone). You can download the trial or developer edition here. As I am apparently one of the few who did not participate in the beta (I only recently convinced my soon to be ex-employer to move to MX from 5), I am looking forward to toying with the new version.

BellaAlbum (Update)

The author of BellaAlbum, Giampaolo Bellavite has informed me that he has updated the version on his site to include the changes I discussed in my previous post. He also says that he is hard at work on a new version...looking forward to it.

Using openXML in MS SQL (update)

I had to update my code using openXML in a stored procedure on SQL (see previous post). The reason was because, while my code did fine at pulling the data, I now needed to send it to a DTS to put into Access, but could not because I deleted the table at the end of the stored proc. My updated code is below:

BellaAlbum

BellaAlbum is an FREE open-source, coldFusion-based application for creating picture albums. I am trying it out as I was looking for something of the sort to handle personal photos. As I have with FarCry, I figure it is worth documenting my experiences with the product.
