I had the need to test some integration of the reporting features that Breeze 5 makes available via its XML Integration API, so I built a set of components component that accesses many of the specifically reporting functions that the API makes available. It also handles log in and maintaining your session across requests. I am not sure what is included in the Connect re-branding release, but I assume this API will still exist, so it should still apply (I may have the opportunity to check this out soon). The nice thing is that I was able to add support for multiple sorts and filters depending on how they were documented within the spec for each function using simple sort and filter objects. To download the code, click the download link on this post (I will also add this to my projects page soon).

Some important updates this week, but, relatively speaking, it was quiet with two new projects and several updates. However, there have been some great tutorials released this week for various projects.

You asked for it, and you got it! I updated the recently released Flex-ified version of my code generator with some of the most requested features. You can get the latest version under the branches in subversion or by clicking the download link for this post. Here are the new features:

A very active week this week. While we only had one new project, there were a handful of significant updates released to a wide variety of projects.

Part of my new job includes doing some Flex development with Cairngorm, neither of which I had used previously. So, as a learning experience, I decided to rewrite my Illudium PU-36 Code Generator with Flex UI. I am releasing this as the new version of the code generator, but initially as an alpha so I can get some testing. What this means is you can get it via subversion in the branches folder or via the download link on this post.
