What is a Flex Camp? (and Why the Name Shouldn't Change)
Posted on Jan 21, 2009
The other day I announced Flex Camp Miami (March 6) which set off big debate on Twitter. You see, several months back Adobe announced its intention to rename the Flex Camps to Flash Camps. The debate began over a question about why my event wasn't named Flash Camp Miami and moved into a debate over the merits of this move on Adobe's part. Two new releases and three updates this week. This is my inauguration edition of the ColdFusion Open Source update. I am very excited to announce Flex Camp Miami which will be held on March 6 on the campus of the University of Miami. The event will be held inside the Hurricane100 Room that is part of the new BankUnited Center and will include lunch. The cost of the event is a very low $30. At that price, even if you aren't in the area, you could fly in and enjoy a weekend in the sun and warmth and learn about Flex and AIR. I am sure for those of you up north like myself, this sounds quite tempting today. Seats are limited, so you should register today!

Other times, the end result was a scribbled and unintelligible mess - and that was when I actually bothered withmockups since I hated doing them. However, Balsamiq Mockups may change my opinion.
