ColdFusion Open-Source Update - December 11
Posted on Dec 11, 2006
No new releases to note this week, but some important updates and announcements, specifically I would like to highlight the updates to Transfer and Fusebox "under new management". On a somewhat related note, my site has officially moved to a VPS account at Vivio which should help with the (seemingly) endless stream of errors I was getting from my shared account at HostMySite. It was a painless move even including the transition from Windows to CentOS. Nonetheless, if you notice any issues, please let me know. In the process, I updated the open source list to use the 1.1.1 release of Mach II and the 0.6 release of Transfer without any apparent issue :) Oh, and I am trying a slightly revised format here that reflects the way I have been organizing projects in the recent posts.

Brian,
I just did the /exact/ same move a few months ago, from HMS to Vivio VPS. I too was getting a LOT of errors at HMS, and with Vivio I get almost none. However, I was on Linux at HMS, so it's interesting to learn that you were having problems with their Windows account.
