New Releases and Updates

New Project: Yxplorer
Yxplorer: Crawl Around In Your ColdFusion Memory
Geoff Bowers and the Daemon team that is also behind FarCry have released this tool, both within the FarCry Framework and as a seperate application, to allow you to drill down and view your ColdFusion servers session, application and server scopes.

Illudium PU-36 Code Generator
Release Candidate 1 ...um...Released
I have released a new version of my Flex-based ColdFusion code generator which includes a list of enhancements and bug requests as well as MySQL 4.1 support (finally!). This version also fixed every known bug at the time.

LightWire
LightWire 0.5 Released!
Peter Bell's dependency injection framework now includes the use of a config file, sample project and (as noted in a seperate post) support for custom factories.

Trac_Fu
TRAC_FU Updates Galore!!
Russ Johnson has added new features and fixed about 17 known issues in his Trac for ColdFusion project. The updated code is only available via Subversion at the moment.

ColdBox
ColdBox 2.0.0 Beta Build 493: This one is for BlueDragon fans!!
The latest build of Luis Majano's MVC framework includes full support for BlueDragon 6.2.x as well as some other important updates.

ColdBox 2.0.0 Beta Build 477 is ready for download + more!
The prior build added some important new features and some changes to the naming conventions.

CFMBB
CFMBB 1.20 Release Candidate Available
Some of the changes to Rick Root's message board application are user groups, restricted forums based on user groups, content management, file management and chat as well as a long list of other improvements and bug fixes.

ImageCFC
ImageCFC 2.14 Released
The resize now allows a "copToExact" argument in Rick Root's image manipulation component. The code was donated by Peter Coppinger aka Topper.

CFConcurrency
Bug Fix
Sean Corfield has fixed a bug in his concurrency package for ColdFusion.

Announcing ColdFire
With 67 comments and counting, this is certainly the most talked about announcement of the week, and it comes from, you guessed it, Ray Camden. He and Adam Podolnick have been working on a way to integrate debugging features directly into the Firebug plugin for Firefox.

Pre and post even handlers were added in built 477.

Russ Johnson Hey Brian! I love these opensource updates! Maybe you should hook up with Matt and Peter on CF Weekly and do an Opensource segment on the podcast, that would be great!
