ColdFusion Open-Source Update - May 22

Alot of news this week, so I have organized it by project since there were often multiple news items per project. So, without further adieu...BoardFusion
BoardFusion and Internationalization (i18n)
Paul Hastings details some specifics regarding BoardFusion's i18n support, which will be based upon ICU4J. Paul also solicits additional information from interested parties.

Model-Glue
Model-Glue 1.1.10 Release Candidate
This release is focused on performance and based upon the metrics Joe posts on his site, he has made some substantial progress - dropping response times on his benchmark from 2591ms to 491ms. You can download the release candidate on the Model-Glue site.

Joe Rhinehart Presenting Model-Glue at Adobe Developer Week
Adobe developer week is a week of free online training seminars (offered via Breeze). Joe will be presenting Model-Glue and the upcoming "Unity" release (i.e. v2.0) on Thursday, June 15 from 3 to 4pm.

CFLib.org
Testing Model-Glue Version of CFLib
Ray Camden is testing a new Model-Glue version of CFLib and is asking people to help test it and provide feedback.

Fusebox
Fusebox Reaches Beta 1
Fudebox 5 is now "feature complete" with a goal of completing bug-fixes, performance improvement and documentation by CFUnited.

MachBlog
MachBlog Status update
Matt Woodward gives an update on the current development status of MachBlog and says that he hopes to have a SQL Server version this week, and also says that in order to ease further dbms support some improvements are being made that may delay MySQL support.

Peter Farrell displays his work on a MachBlog logo (part 1 and Part 2).

CodeSaver
CodeSaver 2.0.5 Released
Shlomy Gantz has released an update to his code code generator and asks for feature requests for version 2.1 upcoming.

RSS.cfc
Lastly, I released an RSS component that can ease reading RSS feeds and displaying them in ColdFusion. You can find it here. I am hoping to update the underlying Java Library it uses to the Rome library in the near future so that I can better support writing RSS and to support things like multuple categories and multiple attachments.

Thanks to google for releasing the Google Notebook, as it greatly eased keeping track of all these posts. As always, if I missed anything be sure to let me know.
