Primary Responsibilities

  • Will take a lead role in analyzing web application business requirements and designing, developing and implementing effective ColdFusion-based solutions
  • Will engage with internal business clients as either the primary developer or as a member of a development team to effectively progress through a complete application development life cycle process
  • Will provide troubleshooting expertise and general maintenance support for various Cold-Fusion based applications.
  • Will provide technical leadership and mentoring to application development staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in ColdFusion MX 7, including components, cfscript, Ajax, XML, reporting, and event gateways
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Flash, including alpha channel compositing, embedded cue points, and video encoding
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good to excellent working knowledge of DHTML, CSS, and Web 2.0
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • ColdFusion server installation/configuration/updating experience is desirable
  • WebSphere Portal knowledge is desirable
  • Working knowledge of J2EE is desirable
