Top New Features of ColdFusion 8 on Sitepoint

My latest article has just been posted on Sitepoint. It covers my personal favorite new features in ColdFusion 8 (at least, those at the moment as this tends to change throughout the lifetime of a release). Most of my readers are probably familiar with these features, though if you haven't used ColdFusion 8 much yet, I do go into some brief examples of things like the Ajax integration and Multi-threading. Anyway, I am just grateful for the opportunity to evangelize a great product and a particularly excellent release.

Way to go. I really like sitepoint.. but it been in desperate need of ColdFusion content.

I agree. Although SitePoint's great site, they've been even a shade anti-Coldfusion in the past. (One of their head guys, Kevin Yank, once referred to CF as "relatively stagnant"). It's great to see your article there as well as the recent addition Kay Smoljak's weekly blog posts there (that everyone should check out).

I'll echo everyone else's sentiments about SitePoint - great site, but the slant against CF bugs me! Thanks for contributing - it's nice to see some good content from the CF community there.
