Transfer 1.0 Secrets Revealed!

vegemiteIt appears that things have been busy down under in between vegemite sandwiches. Through a super-secret source who chooses not to be identified but goes by the handle "neurotic", I have discovered some interesting information regarding the imminent release of Transfer 1.0 and a possible new ColdFusion open-source wiki based on Transfer and ColdBox. The information is at the yet-to-be-announced Transfer documentation site. While many of the pages don't yet appear to be written, I expect that to change soon. In particular I am hoping to find a sneak peak of the Transfer 1.0 release notes.

More interestingly, given the lack of specifics in regards to 1.0, is that the site appears to run on a new ColdFusion wiki software called CodexWiki. I have inferred that it is written in ColdBox and Transfer because of the "powered by ColdBox" logo in the lower-left of the page and the stunningly beautiful powered by transfer"powered by Transfer" box on the lower-right corner of the page. I know you must indeed be impressed by my powers of deduction, but my source has confirmed that this is true and that the software will be released as open-source, which in layman's terms means the "source" will be "open" (and not they have given up on the product).

Chris Phillips Transfer is awesome! But, it sure could use a nicer "powered by" logo...
