ColdFusion Open-Source Update - December 9, 2009

Six new projects this week in ColdFusion open source. Yep, all new projects this week. Its interesting to see how ColdFusion Builder extensions have started taking off and we're seeing a couple a week lately. I expect this will continue to grow as we near an "official" builder release as people realize this is simply the coolest feature in the IDE (by far).

Yakoob Ahmad released an early alpha of this social networking application built with ColdFusion.

Kevin Schmidt created this project to allow you to create a PDF based upon a Flex PMD xml file.

Ben Nadel created a ColdFusion Builder extension that is intended to improve upon the built-in regular expression based find and replace.

New Project: Stiletto
Stiletto - Silent server-side debugging
John Mason created this project which helps with debugging by allowing you to trace through the steps a user took when encountering the issue.

New Project: WordArt for ColdFusion
Initial Release
Sameer Gupta created this project to add typography similar to SiFR font replacement but using images generated on the fly rather than Flash.
