Five new projects and three updates in ColdFusion open source projects this week. Sorry for the delay in posting this week but I am still recovering schedule-wise from RIA Unleashed which was a huge success (don't take my word for it? Here's a review from InsideRIA).

New Project: CF Arduino
Initial Release
Justin McLean created this component to communicate with the Arduino platform.
New Project: CFBarbecue
CFBarbecue.cfc (...Just because)
This new project is a wrapper to the Barbecue library for generating bar codes.
New Project: ColdFusion Support Chat
Initial Release
James Harvey released this project that can be used to build a support chat module within an application.
New Project: FreeAgent
Agent in Training
Isaac Dealey's goal with his FreeAgent project (code in SVN) is to allow you to easily write applications that can be ported to any MVC framework.
New Project: Google Language Tools Extension
Google Language Tools Extension for ColdFusion Builder
Terry Ryan has written an new extension that allows you to translate the selected text in the editor using Google's translation API.
ColdBox
ColdBox beta 3 issues addressed and some goodies
Some object serialization issues with ColdFusion 9 and other issues in the recent beta 3 release have been fixed and will be pushed out as part of an updated Beta 3 release this Friday.

FuseNG Update
Sadly, Adam Haskell has decided that he no longer has the time or interest in updating a framework he no longer uses. FuseNG was supposed to be a branch of Fusebox which, as of right now, is no longer being developed. The net result of this decision may be that Fusebox is dead. However, as they said in Top Secret, "Let me know if his condition changes."
FuseNG and therefore Fusebox by default are dead...
