Contribute to the ColdFusion Cookbook - Win Prizes & Gain Respect!

Posted on Sep 20, 2010

Sadly, the ColdFusion community has not been contributing much to the ColdFusion Cookbook. This is a shame since it is a great community resource for us all that can be especially useful for new people in the community. In order to get the recipes rolling in again, Ed Sullivan from the ADC team at Adobe just announced a new drive for contributions being run for the Adobe ColdFusion Cookbook. Firstly, every recipe you contribute will give you a free ADC t-shirt - meaning if you are especially productive you may never need to wear anything else ever again ;). If you contribute the most recipes within the contest period, you get an ADC branded Timbuk2 bag with additional goodies inside (these bags are awesome, I still use my Flex 2 branded bag). Finally, the best submission during the contest period (as voted on by some CF heavyweights) will receive a copy of ColdFusion 9 Standard. For all the details, please check out Ed's post.

Many of you out there likely have stuff to contribute sitting on your blog or elsewhere that it would be easy to repurpose and post. So, contribute, get free stuff, enter the contest and gain the respect of the ColdFusion community!
