Flex Camp Miami Gets a New Design and Blog Bling

Posted on Jan 22, 2009

Hello, my name is Brian Rinaldi, and I am not a designer. I accept this shortcoming. Thankfully, Francisco Inchauste of Universal Mind's user experience design team is and he donated some time to give my Flex Camp Miami site a new logo and new look, as well as some blog bling. The new look should hopefully garner us some attention (and already has). I am not really sure where he got the inspiration for the new logo and design but somehow it does say "Miami." ;) Feel free to download the blog bling and add it to your blog. For a high resolution version of the image, click here.

Another note, I have begun posting more details about sessions and speakers on the agenda page. In the upcoming weeks I will be highlighting sessions in posts on this blog and on the Flex Camp Miami site.

phill.nacelli Brian,

Very nice design! Now.. should folks expect you'll attend the meetings wearing a white jacket and slacks and t-shirts? Best of luck and success...

Cheers..

Peter Carabeo-Nieva Very nice! I actually signed up for the flex camp just before the redesign. It's so funny because I actually pulled off a flex event myself (with Daniel Dura of Adobe as our presenter) and on our site I placed myself "don johnson style" in a white suit and pink shirt! hehe, adobe + miami vice, what can be better?! Our event was back in October but check out the site and see what I was talking about, hehe:

I was really excited about flash on the beach coming down to Miami in April but it fell through due to not enough registrations. I'm happy that you're doing this event and it seems like the content in it will be just as rich as flash on the beach, congrats!
